POP-UP TENANT: THE PURIST COLLECTION

From artists and fashion designers, to florists and interior fit-out specialists, our pop-up commercial tenants on Liv’s ground floor bring their unique energies to the precinct to create a diverse and vibrant hub. We recently welcomed a new pop-up tenant – The Purist Collection.

Hand-making home, bath and beauty products from her home since 2015, Emily Bathgate, owner of The Purist Collection, decided it was time to literally set up shop and feed her desire to work in Fremantle.

This is her first foray into leasing a space that could house her brand and products from production to the retail shop floor.

“Building a personality and aesthetic for my brand has been a central focus for me since its conception,” Emily said.

“It’s really important for my customers to be able to connect with the business beyond just buying the products.

“I love that Liv offers luxury in the heart of Freo, which has such a down-to-earth and grounded vibe – it’s a combination that complements my brand perfectly.”

Having worked with Spacemarket before, and in other pop-up stores, naturopath Emily knew the benefit of having a flexible tenancy.

“It can feel like such an enormous risk to sign a long-term lease as a small business, so being able to ‘pop-up’ instead opens so many doors and windows with so much less risk,” Emily said.

The pop-up space has created additional opportunities for The Purist Collection, including moving production out of Emily’s home and expanding her team to formulate and hand-make the entire range.

“The space has allowed me to spend more time to focus on growing the business,” Emily said.

“A pop-up can serve as a brilliant opportunity to expand your business, establish new connections, build your customer base and gain exposure.

“I’m absolutely loving the environment and opportunity so far!”
